Tipton Main Street Association, Inc. (TMSAI) is hosting the “Christmas Flowerpot Challenge 2021!”
TMSAI hopes the “Christmas Flowerpot Challenge” will bring businesses, families, and organizations together to create their own designed masterpieces to decorate the flowerpots. Details for this event are as follows:
What: Each flowerpot donation is $20.00. Deadline is midnight on December 3rd; judging will take place on December 4th @ 9am. Judges will be looking for most creative pots and will award the top three places plus an award from the TMSAI BOD.
Where: Downtown Tipton, available flowerpots will be numbered 1-95, act fast as these will be released on a first come, first serve basis. Visit a pot and confirm its number if you are specific to a particular location, otherwise you may call and be given a number if you are indifferent. Numbers are located on the inside of the pots facing the street.
When: Applications will be accepted starting November 1st and ending November 22nd. You may decorate starting November 23rd through December 4th. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DECOR IS CONTAINED TO THE POT AND SECURED. All decorations must be removed between January 15-17, 2021. Please note if removed by TMSAI all items will be discarded or donated accordingly on your behalf.
Who: Any group, organization, business, individual or family that would like to take part in making our downtown merry and bright for the holidays and for a good cause. Sponsor as many pots as you like, proceeds benefit Tipton Main Street Association, Inc. (TMSAI HAS THE RIGHT TO PULL ANYTHING THEY THINK IS OFFENSIVE)
LET OUR LIGHT SHINE DURING THIS SPECIAL SEASON, WITH DECOR THAT REFLECTS CHRISTMAS. NO PROFANITY OR POLITICAL JARGON. ADVERTISING WELCOME. GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU!

Applications can be downloaded from the TMSAI website at www.tiptonmainstreet.org or picked up from the City of Tipton Mayor’s Office (City Hall) located at 216 South Main Street, Tipton, IN 46072 during the hours of 8am-4pm. Cash or checks must accompany the application and make your check payments payable to the TIPTON MAIN STREET ASSOCIATION.
